I'm kind of tired of all the unactive watchers, and I really need a new nicname... So I might as well make a new account too.

I'm in the middle of a giant pokemon-obsession, which is epic lolz because I really really SUCK at it.
I just descovered breeding and EV training and stuff so yeah, there are still a lot things I don't know.
Pokemon is (kinda...) the reason i haven't been online in ages. I'm playing with my friends and having fun, so I totally ignored art for like... well, ages.
But I'm getting back into it now...

I'm getting rather tired of my Meridian Island characters... They are fun to draw and all, but i need more variety so I designed 3 new ones. One in the past, one in the future and one... in between. Not gonna give any information though, because I'm sure they will end up being terribly underused as well. Ah... whatev's. At least I'll have more things to draw when I'm bored

Anywho,
I was offline for a long time (since April, i think...), so I never checked my mails and my deviantart messages... Boy was I surprised. I just logged on and found out i had 168 deviations and 123 messages :s
This is a lot for me, seeing as I'm not subscribed to an awful lot of people to begin with. It's gonna take a long time for me to plow though all of those journals, ugh. The polls are gonna be fun tho'

About art.... I found an old book a while back. It's like... It has a hard, red cover. It has old, soft, lined paper that smells like library and dust... It has all I need really. I'm getting rather tired of digital art, because I can't show it to my friends and family... But then again, scanning Is a pain in the ass as well so I had to choose between art on the internet and traditonal art... hmmm I'm better at digital art (as if you didn't notice), but i recently found out how much fun drawing with my gray pencils is. I can lineart and shade at the same time, and being able to actually hold the pencil makes my lines more fluid... Something I can't really manage to do with my tablet pen, for some reason. I also found out about markers...
I don't have fancy stuff like copics or anything like that... I'm just blending cheap waterbased markers I found around the house, and it looks pretty good I mean, I use things like 'BIK', 'steadler' and 'stabilo', but it blends nicely because of the soft paper. I'm really proud of my first attempts, so I'm going to try and scan them ASAP...


I'm rambling again, woaw...I can't believe someone actually read all of that...

I hope some people still want to see my art... xD

Yaaay, I haven't been able to use my computer for a while, my dad came home for a week so i stayed with him most of the time

Gosh I didn't really fit in I was still a bit hoarse from a singstar/sleepover party the other day, so my voice was like 'fuck it' and decided not to work ALL DAY, so all I could do was follow them and nod and make hissy noises... ugh = ____ =

I did buy a french magazine with yummy pictures of Patrick in in And I bough their latest dvd, Live in Phoenix. I met a girl, Yalencha or something like that, who met and actually TOUCHED Patrick *jealous*
I wish I was that lucky...

Oh, and i found a book... an empty red book. It has lines in it (like... lined paper? what's the word for that?) but i'm gonna use it as a sketchbook/art book thingo nonetheless. woop

But yeha, i've been thinking a lot about my characters lately, and I've decided a few things.

Fist of all, I'm going to scrap roderiguez and Benzine.
yes, Benzine is fairy new... But he doesn't really fit in , he's not a Meridian city character and he's just... not flexible enough
Roderigues is just... not important enough to keep around. He won't really be missed xD

I also wanted to restyle Gary. You know, It's kind of rediculous how he's a musician with only 4 fingers, right? You can't play piano, guitar, trumpet... maybe drums but that's not very handy when you want to write music. So, rather than giving him another job, i decided to make him human again, like he was before I created dodojii I'll make him Jason's half-brother or something... (Jason's still a dodojii, I like my baby the way he is :3) That will explain the age-gap Maybe I'll make him older as well... 29-something.
It's rather drastic, because i likes him as a Dodojii xD
But he's cute anywayyy

Other than that, I created a new character that i've been dreaming about a lot. Remember that sheep-boy i drew? Yah, he's gonna be a character
I love sheep and I loved his design so I'm going to keep it ^^

I'm still designing him, but I'm kind of sure of a few things. He's an albino and he has curly hair, so he looks like a sheep even though he's only part anthro (like Billy). He has a little fluffy tail and ears and horns like a sheep, that's it really.
He's kind of based on Harry potter... He's a werewolf (an albino though...) but he can change into a sheep at will. (like an animagus) Oh, and he can control himself as a werewolf
I'm not sure about his body shape yet... Sheep are fluffy so i could make him a bit chubby, but I think it would be best if i create more... normal-looking characters. Most of my OC's are rather extreme xD

Glad that's over with. I know I restyle too much, but I designed most of my characters when I was 12-13, and I really want them to look more mature and stuff. I'm also trying to pick up on some trends, maybe It would be good to watch some anime once in a while... At least it will help me art-wise.
